Restoring Run Command in Vista
Hi Buddies...

To have all-purpose Run Command in your Vista do the following steps.

1. Right click the Start button.
2. Choose Properties.
3. With the Menu Tab active, click the Customize option.
4. Browse through the list of options and check Run command.
5. Click OK, then click another OK.

The Run command will be added in the lower-right portion of the Start menu. For just a little trivia, Run Command doesn’t appear on Vista if you are using the default start menu. But if you are using the Classic menu run command is still a part of its start menu.

Thanks

RE: Restoring Run Command in Vista
Run command is very useful in the OS because we can open any of the program by that so the basic thing if that run command can't come on the start menu then the solution is given. But the importance of the run command is greater then the control panel because everything can be open by run, not by control panel.

RE: Restoring Run Command in Vista
If you use the default Start menu in Windows Vista the Run command doesn't appear in it. To change that, right-click the Start button and choose Properties. With the Start Menu tab active, click the Customize button in the upper right. Scroll through the list of options and check Run command. Click OK twice. The command will now appear in the lower-right corner of the Start menu.
