If you have never picked up a GT game title, i should tell you that this game build up at a moderate pace, it takes a decent amount of time to get used to the controls and to adapt to the game which can be a bit frustrating at times. This game was intentionally made to be this way.
Polyphony Digital does an amazing job at providing the gamer with the most accurate simulation you can find. For some people this means that they will either love or hate this game, this is no Midnight Club game or need for speed. If you are after a fast paced game with an arcade style racing then this game may not be for you. If you are after a racing game that is super realistic in its mechanics and love a challenge then this game is for you.
The game has a lot of complexity, after your skills start getting better and buy better and faster vehicles, this game will take up literally thousands, yes thousands of our to complete and it will leave you wanting more. The graphics in my opinion can compete with those of the early Xbox 360 titles, they are that good. The physics are greatly improved from those of the previous game, which means more realism and difficulty.
This is the best part, G-forces, tilt, roll are more accurate, and it is easier to loose control in high speed competitions, like in real life. One of the major flaws in this game is that the vehicles have no damage, that means that you can crash the cars driving at 100 miles per hour and there will be no notable damage. If the game did have damage to the cars, one would be more careful driving and would keep us from strategically banging off the walls and other vehicles to get ahead.
